AutoPay FAQ

Welcome to our frequently asked questions page. This will include general information about autopay. Find answers to all your billing questions in our comprehensive FAQ guide, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

  • Will I be notified before you charge my card?
    You will be notified 10 days before the payment is processed via email.
  • Will I be charged before insurance responds?
    You will be billed only after we have received a response from your insurance provider.
  • What if I have a large balance?
    When authorizing AutoPay you have the option to set your maximum payment of no less than $40. The maximum amount set is what you will be charged each month until the balance is paid in full.
  • How do I know my credit card information is safe?
    Your credit card information is encrypted and stored off-site. Oakview Dermatology does not have access to your information, and after we’ve swiped your card once, you’ll never have to give us that card again.
  • What if I’m overcharged?
    You will only be charged for the amount that you owe. If the amount is less than your maximum charge, you will only be charged the remaining balance.
  • What if I want to pay via cash or check?
    You have 10 days before the card will be charged, you can mail your payment in or stop by the office to pay your bill.
  • Who can I contact with questions about my bill or AutoPay?
    If you have questions about your bill or AutoPay, you can speak to our billing department by calling 740.566.4621 opt. 5 (Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pm EST)
