Dr. Kasie Adkins, DO (MOHS), is a Board Certified dermatologist specializing in MOHS micrographic surgery at Oakview Dermatology's Springfield and Chillicothe, Ohio locations.

 

She is dedicated to providing her patients with exceptional care and has helped many with skin cancer achieve successful treatment outcomes.

 

Dr. Adkins is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for MOHS Surgery.

 

She enjoys spending time with her family and giving back to her community by volunteering with organizations for skin cancer screenings and education.

Megan Bohrer is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with 7 years of medical dermatology experience.

 

She graduated from The University of Findlay in 2015 with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.

 

She enjoys treating a variety of skin conditions, but is especially passionate about treating acne.

 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two little boys on their small farm.

Dr. Hoover completed medical school at Touro Osteopathic College of Medicine in his hometown of New York City. He then completed his dermatology residency with OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

​

 

Dr. Hoover is focused on providing excellent, empathetic care to patients of all ages and skin types, with a special interest in dermatologic conditions affecting our skin of color population.

​

 

He is well-versed in the latest evidence-based treatments for ailments affecting the hair, skin and nails, and is particularly passionate about hair loss affecting both women and men.

​

In addition to medical dermatology, Dr. Hoover also provides both aesthetic and surgical dermatology services. In his free time he enjoys traveling, volleyball, and classic cinema.

Mya Faris, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for her patients. A native of Southeast Ohio, Mya is passionate about making a positive impact in the communities she serves.

​

She completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Morehead State University and went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky.

​

Mya is dedicated to providing personalized dermatologic care, focusing on empowering patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their skin health. She strives to build lasting relationships based on trust and open communication, ensuring each patient receives the highest level of care.

She is excited to be part of the Oakview Dermatology team and looks forward to helping patients achieve their skin health goals.

Grace Soufleris is a board-certified Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Grace is a proud two-time Buckeye, having earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University.

Grace completed the Buckeye Nurse Residency Program and gained valuable experience working on a geriatric medical-surgical unit, where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate, evidence-based care. Her interest in dermatology began early, inspired by her own experiences with various skin conditions throughout her childhood.

​

Grace is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and began her career as a nurse practitioner working for a mobile dermatology practice in Arizona, where she provided dermatologic care to homebound patients. Grace is excited to be part of the Oakview Dermatology team and is dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality dermatologic care.
